life quotes...
Pondering life... I went searching for some quotes... finding some quotes... led me to more quotes... (you know how the Internet leads you all over the place)...
Sort of like that saying: You make time for what is important to you.
I liked this one... sometimes it is easy to put off life, making decisions, etc. Simply because the 'KNOWN' is far more comfortable than the UNKNOWN. Got any favorite quotes?
I am teaching these to my kids as much as possible and so far I think its working~
Do unto others as they would have done to you.
and this is another one I like...
"Only by taking responsibility for oneself, to the greatest extent possible, can one ever be free, and only a free person can make responsible choices - between right and wrong, saving and spending, giving or taking." - Paul Ryan
Two of them has had homework that they do not understand and instead of me telling them how to do it (it would probably be wrong anyway as the teaching methods have change in the past 20 something years) I tell them to go to school the next day and ask the teacher to explain it to them. Same for if they forget about homework, they need to tell the teacher and take ownership of forgetting it. I do not want my kids not taking responsibility for their work.

Don't let any one dull your sparkle!
Sometimes people enjoy brining you down. Sad how that is what makes them happy.
