Italian Christmas Cookies
I first found these special Christmas cookies made in northern Italy in Venice, Italy many years ago. I ran across them again last week at a bakery in Venice (when I took my visitors on the train to see Venice) and I grabbed a bag of 'fresh' bakery made ones!
I promptly ate them... and I found some more at a local grocery store today. They taste like pie crust cookies sprinkled with powdered sugar and they are light, crispy, and YUMMY!!!
