that I got in the 'yarn market' yesterday. I'm making a hat for a co-worker's soon to be born baby. They decided not to 'know the sex' of the baby in advance-- which I thought was quite refreshing. After all, that is probably the biggest surprise out there-- waiting 9 months to find out the sex of the baby.
Anyway, I thought that this yarn was pretty gender neutral. It's a soft self-striping yarn from Japan. The only problem with it? I've already found 3 knots!
Can't you just see this hat on a baby? I'm going to also add some earflaps after I finished knitting the hat.

The colorway is very pretty and will look adorable on the baby! Don't you just hate it when you find knots?! ;o) Very annoying.
Thank you! I'm going to finish it up tonight. I can see and feel 3 more knots. grrr :(
You do know that technically it is illegal in Korea for a doctor to divulge the sex of the baby, right? Of course illegal is always relative ;)
This yarn is GORGEOUS! Can you tell me if I might be able to find it online??
I'm in the middle of a move- and none of my household goods are here yet (still in a hotel). However, the brand of the yarn is showing in the photo- so, do an Internet search and see if it comes up?
I purchased it in a yarn market where I was living in Seoul, Korea.. (if you're on ravelry- my name is: iwouldratherknit and I do have a photo showing the finished hat in my projects.)
SOMETIMES when yarn is imported to different countries- they change the label name/etc. So, just try to look for yarn that is sort of like it. It knitted up great and I purchased a couple other colorways before I moved. I'm sorry that I can't be more help.
