Did your kittens lose their 'mittens?'.....
I recently went shopping to an area of Tondaemun Market called TOY ALLEY by the Americans. Why? Well, they sell... drumroll please... toys!
They also sell: office supplies, stickers, some crafting materials, and a wide variety of items. Things being sold change with the seasons. The catch is- you almost always have to buy 'the entire set/package/etc.' Which is the reason things are so cheap.
I went there to pick up some gloves and mittens to send to Afghanistan. I have a military connection there and they take donated items and give them weekly to the street kids, orphanages, hospitals, and to the refugee camps. I bought about 50 pairs of mittens and gloves in a variety of sizes.
I had already mailed the seven warm wool hats that I had knitted prior to my hand injury. So, I wanted to continue helping - and buying the gloves was a perfect way to do so.
I'll pack them up to send this week. If you'd like the address- email me and I'll give it to you. I realize that there are many organizations that handle donations to Afghanistan- but, I like doing it this way-- because those in need get items quickly.

Wow, it looks like you are having some great adventures over-seas!
Awesome that you are sending thing out to help out in Afghanistan from where you are! Thanks for sharing all those pics!
Thanks for posting a comment!
I asked teachers at my school last June- to send to my classroom any 'unwanted/left-over' school supplies and we had enough that I sent 21 boxes to Afghanistan for the US Military to donate to the local schools. :D
